The Little Peninsula

Ruth Dran was born Ruth Bernice Liebman in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. 
She retired, in 1990, from a long career in fashion merchandising; and has been living in Jerusalem since 1995.  Amongst the possessions she brought with her was a carton of roughly drafted and unfinished manuscripts she’d accumulated throughout the years.

Disenchanted and unfulfilled with retirement she’s turned to the contents of that carton for a more meaningful retirement and  sense of  accomplishment.  The Little Peninsula is the first manuscript she chose to complete and publish.   Her next project to be published in 2012 is a novel of fiction entitled The Powers That Be:  a novel about how the individual lives of a small town family and other individuals are influenced and shaped, for better or worse, by circumstances beyond their control and how they cope.  What future publications will come out of that mysterious carton remains to be seen.
